"The campsites are large, and they have plenty of bathrooms with actual plumbing. Showers are .25/min. You can buy wood for $10/core. The trees are so thick that when it rained, we barely felt it. The staff is top notch in hospitality and when it comes to keeping everything clean. If you decide to go, be sure to take your camera. Forget phone service. It's the perfect spot to be to avoid calls from the boss. There is no phone or internet service. We went the last week of Sept. Perfect for avoiding crowds. It's terrible if you hate the cold. It was cold during the day, freezing at night. There are some beautiful trails. You don't have to be an athlete, but before you go, I recommend you start taking walks. It's one of the most beautiful campsites I've ever been to. I look forward to going back when the weather is warmer."
"It was a beautiful and relaxing and very quiet place to rest. The only bad thing was our tent was too big for the campsite and we could not even have a fire because the tent was so close to the fire pit. And we went around the campground and the sights are for either campers or tiny tents. But we would definitely go back."
"The campsites are roomy and beautiful. Each site had a unique tree and it's own bear box. Never saw a bear but we had a fox visit each night. Blue Jay's can be quite loud in the morning but that's nature for ya."
"A sprawling campground spread among tall (but not giant) redwoods. Though, it is certainly in need of repairs (the roads are just really shot…I wasn’t sure how some of these trailers got in). The road to the entrance is all uphill winding, and once inside it’s all downhill winding to the sites). Many campsites have amazing privacy, and many don’t. But once night falls, it feels private due to spacing. Because of its location deep in the valley, there is absolutely no cell service in the campground, and you’ll need to drive for at least 10 minutes back towards town to get a signal. Just FYI. Also very little wind, good for safety, bad for bugs. Bathrooms are adequate, but definitely have seen better days… The showers, well, warm, remind me of prison showers! I would recommend skipping this campsite and heading further south to the hidden Springs Campground area. But if this is in the region you need to visit, you’re still going to have a good time."
"This place is absolutely stunning, all around. The convenience of having a shower while camping is awesome. The sites are clean, and they hosts are very friendly. I will be back as often as possible. Love it!"
