"This is the most unique Redwood that I witnessed in the National Park. There is some roadside parking and an easy trail down to the tree."
"It's not what you might think but it is still cool to see. Parking on the road and the tree is about 100 yds down the trail. Adventure krewe pro tip, if you are not hiking one of the many great trails in the area then go see the tree after 5pm if it's still light out"
"What a cool tree to go see! It is two trees that grew in the form of a corkscrew. Or it's one tree split in half I can't tell. Either way, it's awesome and such a great experience to see. Definitely recommend stopping if you can. If you walk down the corkscrew tree trail, parking is right on the road, when you arrive at the first bend in the trail, which turns to the left, its on the left. Awesome!"
"This tree is super cool and unique. The way the trees have braided together gives it a distinguishing look. Make sure to admire this puppy from multiple angles to admire its complexity. Additionally, explore the trail a little more and you will find yourself immersed in lush green paradise. Also, take a moment to embrace the serenity and tranquility in this area."
"A very unique and beautiful tree. As I’ve explored the redwoods with my family this week I’ve found this one to be my favorite. Located just 2-3 minutes from the side of the road is the unique “tree” really made up of four trees woven into one. The middle tree is remarkably flat trunked and twisted dramatically through the others. We brought our young children and retired parents, the walk was short and easy for all. My youngest declared it “the best tree ever”, and I’m inclined to agree. I was also impressed that the tree was interesting enough to leave such an impression on them. No crowds, no waits, check it out!"
