"We found a half-eaten cheeseburger behind one of the beds upon arrival. The staff was very disrespectful many times towards my husband and I. They called us “kids” after asking for another room key because ours stopped working. I am very offended by the staff. The service and cleanliness were not at all impressive."

"The room was clean, really close the beach, the train, and to be able to rent an electric bicycle. The only draw backs were I felt like a lot of people used that specific hotel to "hookup," and there was a baseball field facing the parking lot of the hotel that was played on at least Monday-Friday. So that was a bit scary if u decide to park ur vehicle on the upper level but they do have underground parking."

"Great place to stay. People that run the place are very nice. Rooms are basic. The hotel is quiet. First time I stayed. I ended up coming back. The crazy part is grew up in San Clemente and past by this place as a kid on my bike and later, my car. Perfect place at a great location."

Would come back if I had to stop through the area again! Not sure what people are on about the “unsafe area”…. Perhaps they have never left a gated community before ? This is a nice neighborhood with extremely expensive rental prices, cafes, a microbrewery …"
