La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fremont / Silicon Valley

"I stayed in a suite my first night it was very basic to pay extra so my second night I change my room to a regular room. On my way to my room I noticed white patches in the carpets of the hallways and it smelled all throughout the halls (that should've been my first clue I'd have an issue.) After I finally got into my room and sanitized all the main areas as I was cleaning the bathroom I noticed medium size patch of black mold on the ceiling. I immediately gathered my belongings to check out. The person who checked me in seemed to be understanding and helped me with a quick checkout. However I don't understand how the hotel employees aren't aware of what's occuring at their hotel, I was a bit upset I wasted my time."

"There was a bad odor in my room that also permeates the hallways. They seriously need to steam clean the carpets and deodorize the entire hotel. The men's restroom on the lobby does not work and there was no soap nor paper towels. Someone had a key and tried to enter my room while I was away and my mom was there alone but fortunately she had extra lock on. When I got back my keys didn't work, it seems they didn't realize I had the room and tried to reassign my room to another guest. Breakfast was cheap only cereals, bread, and waffles. At least the staff was friendly and it was in a good location, the only reason it didn't get 1 star."

"I booked this place but the pictures are Deceiving. There's some bleach stains on the floors and some stains in the ceilings. But for the price nothing too bad. Key card takes a little to open the back door for the stairs. Rooms were nice and bathroom was spacious. We had the loudest neighbors ever. They were throwing a party and did respect the quiet hours even after being talked to by staff. Staff didn't really seem to care till my dad said he was going to ask them himself to quiet down. But around 2am they finally got kicked out. Night 2 was way quieter. Breakfast wasn't too bad. I had a bagel, they had hard boiled eggs, cereal and breads. Apple juice and milk were available. I kind hoped for some type of meat. However it's close to Levi's stadium. Which was nice. Plus there's many stores in the area."

"Thanks to the lovely reviews here I was not expecting much. Let me just tell you right away, the water is hot, rooms are clean, there is no homeless encampment, there were regular patrols all night into the early morning, service is great. It is right next to the freeway along with 5 or 6 other hotels but you can't hear anything from your room. There are a lot of people cleaning and doing maintenance as I type this. Not sure what others were expecting but it's accurate to description and a far cry away from some of the raunchy reviews on here. Its not a top tier branded property but does not lack any of the amenities to be a nice little place to stay."

"Dump! Sketchy foot traffic at all hours of the day. A person knocked on my door asking for money (did not open). Card key side access door does not lock and is left open all day. Breakfast was out by 7am (started at 6am and was supposed to go until 10am on the weekend) but did have coffee and juice and some breads. Room is outdated, but beds were made, had blood spatter (?) on bathroom wall. Homeless encampment in the parking lot between this hotel and the neighboring Extended Stay hotel. Will not be coming back. Appalled at how bad this hotel is now!"
