"Been wanting to try this place for some time and it was good. Got there for happy hour which was definitely a deal for drinks. The drinks were strong and the food was delicious. I would go back again. The staff was great too."

"Taisho is a thoroughly lovely experience. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the menu is full of delicious options and the chef will make recommendations, the atmosphere is moody and intimate, and they have valet so parking can be incredibly easy if you don’t want to worry about finding a meter. I highly recommend ordering at least a couple items from each section of the menu from top to bottom, and topping off with dessert. A great date spot."

"First of what will be many visits to this dynamic and inviting spot. Roma our server was outstanding, very personable and great suggestions with the menu. Mike was an associate Manager I believe, took great care getting us situated and checking back on us through the meal. Tom, one of the Restaurant partners is such an incredible man, so nice, really great background on the place and shared about another new concept opening down the road in the near future. Food: Brussels Sprouts, new favorite simply wonderful. Yellowtail Serrano and Tuna Avocado Parm, rich and truly wonderful dishes presented as a new modern sashimi, excellent! Yuzu Kosho roll and Sweet and Spicy Crab Roll, wow, incredible could have stayed right there and ordered more, outstanding! Crab Legs with a remarkable sauce that was just out of this world, will hit that again. Crispy Rice and Tuna was best I’ve had after trying at several other places, this one is simply the winner. Now let’s talk about the Wagyu Short Ribs, heavenly presented in a tangy, rich and vibrant sauce, melts in your mouth, crazy great! And then, just when you think there is no more room, trust me, you have room for the Butter Cake with Strawberries and ice cream. It’s just plain Stellar! My wife and I love this place, from the atmosphere to the staff (front of house and back of house!) and food is perfectly on par with a dynamic evening out! Will be back for round two very soon! "Still just as fabulous as I remember it! Our server was Kelly and she was a rockstar so attentive, friendly and gave the best recommendations. We got a little bit of everything on the menu so I’ll highlight my favs. The Brussel sprouts were just as delicious as I remember. They definitely taste like chips vs something healthy. The salmon dry miso sashimi was so memorable seasoned so perfectly that just wanted more. The whole striped bass was the last course and would have skipped over this if not recommended and that would have been regretful. The presentation and even more the taste of the sauce was fresh crispy fish was truly amazing. Every dish had great flavors, the service was impeccable and the restaurant had such a great vibe. The only downside and could be considered an upside is that’s it’s really loud inside since the music is so loud so it’s difficult to have a conversation without having to yell a little. The dinner wasn’t be any means cheap so it’s definitely a place to splurge a little."
