"We purchased a Maverick Recliner the sales staff member was friendly, the part that should have been discussed in addition to telling us of the sake reduction, was that delivery had an additional cost of 200.00 we would have chosen to pick it up ourselves, or since they had it in store take it that day. The delivery date was also 4 days time, but again we just thought that since it was inclusive of our purchase we would agree to the time frame. Lesson learned expensive as it was always ask never assume!"

"Buyer be warned: they will lie to get you to sign. My wife and I go into the store Oct 28 looking to buy a sofa. We walk around and Kimberley starts asking us what we were looking for. The sofas she showed us weren’t in our favorite styles but then she mentioned we could pick our own fabric. She takes us to the fabric wall and I find one that catches my eye. We ask her how long it would take to get the custom couch shipped and she says “4 to 6 weeks.” We weren’t happy to hear that because we wanted a couch that same month and told her we’d come back when we decided what we wanted to do. The next day we made up our mind that 4-6 weeks was more than reasonable for a custom couch that we would really like and treasure for years to come since La-Z-Boy is a trusted brand. So we come in and tell her we’d like to start the paperwork. Before signing the paperwork my wife reads on one of the pages that the estimated time would be 8-16 weeks. She flips the page over and another estimated time is given. 16-24 weeks. When we ask her about that she deflects with things like, “yeah you know we can’t guarantee a date, we just don’t know.” And my wife is firm to tell her, “I understand that. That’s fine. You just lied to me and said 4-6 weeks yesterday.” As she goes in circles to make excuses. Today we called the warehouse to ask when we would get the couch and they said the end of January. I’m completely disappointed with this experience. I’m still excited for a beautiful couch that will hopefully last many years but being lied to to make a deal is so inappropriate and dissatisfying."
