"Life as an employee woking at this place is a mess to be honest with you. Raquel the general manager runs picking and choosing who gets to get promoted through favoritism. The customers that you get act really bad because they are in a rush go to see their dumb movie and they always want free stuff despite them having to pay for it. Co-workers are always turning on each other and gossiping. Kids are never doing their basic job and complain that they don’y get ‘paid enough’ for what they do, which is just pretty ridiculous to say when the job is quite easy. And if you want to get used and abused, then just work for Regal Cinemas. Can’t even tell you how many times other co-workers trash talking has hurt other people’s reputations in there from losing their jobs, being hated, not getting promoted to whatever else. How many times I caught people smoking weed, lagging on the job, doing things they are not suppose to be doing, mismanagement, stealing money for the cash register, eating food they didn’t pay for, smoking in general, etc. Plus, all the times other employees got together and partied all night long and came the following day to work wasted, tried, drained out and lost it mentally and physically to function at work. The flirting was super cringe between the boys and girls, I honestly hated that the most. Not to mention the fact the communication between the managers/team leads to employee was horrible. They would never let you know when they would change the lock to the employee room for example, and the managers acted like some type of cult of being hesitate to tell you anything. It’s just a bunch of 18/19 years running the place with no life experience. I would personally give your money to AMC who actually deserves it and has better theaters. They’ll try to act like a family in there when it’s far from it and never seem to get the fact that some people just want to work and not be in the middle of drama. If they tell you otherwise, it’s a lie. I personally think they should all be fired and be replaced by a new team of leaders and floor staff."
"The theater itself is ok. You can pick assigned seats, and they're decently comfortable. It is fairly clean and spacious. The theater itself gets 3, maybe 3.5 starts. However, I would advise not to eat here. The food removes a star/ star and a half. The first time I came, I ordered chicken strips and pizza because my 3 year old was hungry. Even the unsophisticated palette of my toddler couldn't handle it. She asked if we could go home and I cook her something instead. I've had better pizza from the public school cafeteria, and I grew up in Baltimore. We just went on and threw the chicken things away. The second visit a large crew of us went to see the Color Purple. We were all hungry so each of us ordered different things and shared. All of it was terrible. I only ordered popcorn because I was still traumatized from the first visit. When I was asked if I wanted the butter "flavoring," I joked with the attendant it's mostly chemicals, so I shouldn't. I did anyway. I was sick for two days. Headache and nauseous. I could taste that "butter" the entire time. It tasted like i had some Raid stuck in my throat. My plan is to never visit this theater again, but if I do, not only will it be under some type of coercion, but I will smuggle in my own popcorn."
"My second time at this theater. Clean. My feet did not stick to the floor from dried spilled soda. Women's bathroom neatest our theater only had one working sink to wash your hands. Staff at the concessions counter were cheeky. (Look it up.)"
"We love the summer $1 express movies on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! Thank you, Regal! It's such an inexpensive nice treat for adults and children. Check out the latest schedule on Dr. Google and book your $1 movies through the app. You'll even get points for these flicks, and tons of free parking. Enjoy."
