"The okonomiyaki is a bit different of what I had in Hiroshima, Japan. In Japan, they usually serve you with raw batter and other ingredients like cabbage, soba, and protein, so the consumers can try to combine the okonomiyaki by themselves. However, in here (little Tokyo), they serve you the one that they’ve cooked. In this case, what’s the circle okonomiyaki tampayaki station for? For picture or design? Because the customers didn’t involve in the making process. We also ordered beef tongue which is normal and pricy, and it’s not cooked from chock coal stove, so there is some flavor missing. Overall, a cute little place to hang out with friends and try some okonomiyaki, even though you miss the entertainment part (combine it by yourself), a decent okonomiyaki place with clean environment."
"it was fun to cut our own okonomiyaki but then it got too greasy after eating two pieces. I would recommend only order one for two people and some appetizers! i recommend the beef tongue!"
"Pros: - Tasty! - Fast service despite how busy it is - Hot surface at every table to keep your food warm - They have cute little sauce packets Cons: - The air is a little oily indoors and the smell will linger on your clothes and hair - Outdoor seating is not preferable because people are constantly walking by on the sidewalk, dust from the environment, street noises, cleanliness of the general area, etc."
"Everything about this place was perfect. Ordered takoyaki mentaiko and loaded kaisen and they were so delicious. Takoyaki still makes my mouth water thinking about it. Restaurant had a charming aesthetic, and I loved sitting at the counter to see the okonomiyaki being cooked. Staff was really nice and helpful too. Can't recommend enough!"
