"TLDR great home cook style meals with amazing staff. This is our new go to restaurant. Looking forward to trying all the new dishes. Located on the second floor in the same plaza as Nijiya and Beard Papa, it's not hard to spit from the road. There is underground self/valet parking in the plaza and metered parking on the street. My boyfriend and I love Midoh and used to drive from LA to rowland heights to their original location, so when we heard a new Midoh was moving into the Curry House spot, we couldn't think of a better replacement. The restaurant has seating available outside on their balcony as well as in front of the restaurant. I prefer the balcony as it has a nice view of the street. Service as always is exceptional. The chef is super accommodating if you have any issues and the waitresses are kind and patient. As for food, I don't think you can go wrong with any dish, they all have a unique homecook flavor. Something to note, the dishes are a few dollars more at this location than in Rowland Heights. It is not unexpected given the location, but something to keep in mind. Almost every dish comes with soup and salad. My favorite dish is the Vongole udon; the soup is light and flavorful and the panna cotta is the dessert that ties everything together. My boyfriend loves their Katsu Sando and Omurice. However, if you are a regular Rowland Heights Midoh fan, there are some changes to note. The Katsu Sando does not come with a soup and salad (but you can add the soup for $2 and salad for $1!) and you will have to ask for the tartar sauce. For the omurice, the rice is curry rice instead of a ketchup base, which was an unexpected surprise. They also have a few new items on the menu. We haven't gotten around to trying everything, but we greatly enjoyed the red bean cheesecake. For those who have a food allergy, please make sure the kitchen knows. The curry has peanut as an ingredient."
