"We flew in from Colorado to get tatted by the world famous Juan ! This marks our 10th visit with Juan, very talented artist. I came back the very next day for a second tattoo on this visit! Recommend Juan and the crew at One Truth Tattoo!"
"I decided to get a second earlobe piercing and called Kathouse first, but they didn’t pick up the phone. I left an email and message. So I called One Truth and they picked up and I asked a few questions, price? Walk-in? And they answered so I came in to get it done here. I didn’t know what to expect since I’ve never been to a tattoo parlor or gotten my piercings done correctly. There was an agreement/arbitration form to fill out beforehand that took maybe 10 minutes. I didn’t like that I had to agree to certain items, like being told after care, and agreeing they explained to me before the procedure, but mostly because I wasn’t told any of those things before agreeing to them (I’m being a stickler, I know). I didn’t know it could take 4-6 months for the piercings to heal! Wow. Anyway, I agreed to their forms and Daniel was my piercer. He put on gloves and got a new sterile needle and some earrings. He had me lie down and he pierced my ears and put the earrings in. The whole thing took less than 50 minutes. The whole thing cost $90 ($45 for each earlobe + jewelry). I wish I knew what material the earrings were made out of, I forgot to ask. Anyway Daniel gave me his business card after and said to contact him if I had any questions and told me the aftercare (clean once a day, use a soap like dial gold, don’t clean more than 2x, the shower does the work for you, etc.) The procedure was done with my mask on the whole, time too! Which I’m glad, but it must make it harder to do the piercing. I got the procedure done and then Kathouse called me >"
"Unbelievable. One Truth Tattoo is a shop that you should not ever pass up if you're thinking of getting some ink. The shop is small, but clean, friendly and welcoming. The music is nothing crazy like in some shops, it's all welcoming and inviting. If you don't like the music they play, it's probably because you just don't have any taste. The artists are the best part, but that should be a given in any shop. A shop can look perfect, sound perfect, and appear perfect, but that doesn't matter if the artists aren't at that level with everything else. That isn't a problem here. Matt (Clown2076 on instagram) was the artist for my piece, and he delivered the perfect piece in a day of planning. I went in Saturday night an hour before they closed to just discuss my idea with him, and got it done Monday when I got off of work. He takes pride in his work, and makes sure you love everything before he even touches you with the needle. It's not my first visit to the shop, but it's my first piece from them. I've been there a few times while friends got their tattoos done, and I've been impressed every time. I find myself getting there pretty early, and staying there pretty long after we get finished because the staff are just so nice to be around. It's not awkward, they talk, they joke, they laugh, they sing. It's obvious they're a big family. If you need a piercing, Kim is great. She's super sweet and nice, and thorough. They all give each other input on whether certain ideas for a tattoo are good, or need to be fleshed out more, so you really know you're getting a good piece. Matt and I were wondering if my tattoo was truly finished or if we wanted smaller details, but Gordo told us no and that it was perfect, and I definitely agreed. It's definitely my go-to shop, and I'll definitely be getting a lot more ink from them. If you're thinking of passing them up and going somewhere else, just don't. Stop in here because you won't regret it. If it's too expensive for you, then you shouldn't be getting ink anyway. It's on you forever, so you should invest instead of being cheap."
"Need ink? This is your place and Matt Powell is your guy. He listens to your ideas, has great vision and isn't afraid to tell you if something won't work. I really appreciate that. I have been here numerous times and I've taken multiple friends. Every time has been a fabulous experience. Place is super clean. Small, easy to miss if you're driving by fast. So slow down."
