Reviews
"Its a perfect place to get some nice photos near the water when the water level is low. Depending on the time and day the area is not crowded and there is plenty of space to explore."
"Walter Hill Dam is a great park where you can wade, swim, fish, hunt for rocks, hike the Greenway, or just sit and watch the river flow by. The roads need maintenance but there is plenty parking."
"Pros: Cool place to wade and chill near river. Nearby Greenway trailhead that passes under memorial/hwy 231. Cons: Less than a mile from middle point landfill. Aka "trash mountain". On certain days when the temps. And wind direction are favorable the smell is yuck! But most of the time you'd never know what's right next door unless you're a local."
"This is a lovely park on the river. There are picnic tables, a walking trail, and room to exercise your dog. But best of all is the beautiful waterfall over the dam and the pebble beach. A very nice place to visit to relax and listen to the rush of the water."
"Beautiful area to enjoy the warm water, swimming, paddle boating, picnicking or just cooling off in the shade, family friendly with fishing to."
