Reviews of Couchville Cedar Glade State Natural Area
"Great place for a short walk. Beautiful and refreshing. There are enough parking benches and grills. Nice place for kids as well. Has a volleyball court. 2 mile walking trail."
"Very clean, and the facilities were nice! There was plenty of space, and the pavilion was a good shelter from the sun or nay inclement weather. All our people had a great time and enjoyed swimming, walking, and looking at the lake nearby. There's a lovely spot just to the left of the Pavillion at a break in the woods where you can go sit on a rocky ledge and look at the water. It's such a nice spot!! The only thing to be aware of is that for large events, parking is limited. Otherwise, it's a wonderful location for get-togethers, and I'd highly recommend it!"
"It was a lot of fun! If you love nature hiking, picnics, fishing, swimming, or other outdoor adventures, you won't go wrong stopping here."
"Lovely park! This was my first visit. Super easy access, has parking. Visitors center was closed for the holiday so can't comment. Did two loop trails and both were beautiful, well maintained, and got to see a few deers which was special. Looking forward to next visits to do the rest of the trails."
"Spectacular! Nice access to couchville lake for people with kayaks and paddle boards. There's restrooms, a large covered pavilion, a fishing peir, playground, swings, picnic tables, grills, vollyball courts, kayak/canoe rentals (summer weekends only i think), a 0.25mi "nature loop" and a 2mi paved trail around the lake. Probably the only trail in long hunter that's accessible for strollers/wheelchairs. The whole 2mi is well shaded. I see wildlife there regularly. There's also a trailhead that goes (4mi) to the Bryant Grove access mostly along percy priest (south end of parking lot near playground)."
