"COE campground. No staff around. Very spacious sites. Well out of town, so very quiet. Stores still easy to get to. Dam under repair, so no lake. Could not find the estimated repair date. The only issue we had was previous camper left trash in the fire pit, and there was trash and beer cans in the woods. Would stay again, especially if dam is repaired and lake us filling up."
"This is a beautiful campground. Unfortunately, at this time, the dam has issues. The lake level has been lowered. It looks more like a river now."
"Nothing but a little rain water and wild life running around with out a care knowing they are protected out here 6 deer standing at shower house just looking around no fear of humans as it should be what a beautiful site to experience"
"We overall enjoyed our stay. Don't let the lake being down get you, our family took advantage of being able to walk the lake and had a good time. Cell service was great we gave AT&T and had zero issues. The sites were very spacious and all had water, power (50 amp), and sewer which was amazing for the price per night. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest or nicest bathrooms we have ever been to but they got us clean and werw usable. The fire pit was really nice as well."
"Was pleasantly surprised. Wasn’t expecting much with the temporary draining of the lake. But the bathrooms were spotless. And air conditioned! I don’t think I’ve ever been at a campground where the bathrooms and showers were air conditioned to a cool 70 degrees. The lake front views were amazing. With the lake drained, take a walk out there and enjoy the sunset."
