"Love this store. Great bargains. Regular prices are reasonable. They have a little of everything. Great prices for wine. They give veterans discount. Coupons are usually available. Staff is great."
"Great deals. Clean store. Nice staff. It's all good!"
"The staff of this store denied service to my husband today because of a laptop backpack he had on him. They asked to leave it out front but after my husband respectfully declined as he had valuables in it and the store does't take any liability for it being stolen, the black manager told us to leave. They never explained why they had a problem with him having a backpack in the first place, although he asked them repeatedly, just said that was the rules of their store. It infuriates me that people get suspected of potentially shoplifting for having a bag on their back, out of reach. Meanwhile no one would even think to suspect someone with a purse at their side, easily in reach, of the same. It's blatant profiling and discriminatory against people without cars."
"Omg today about 9:30ish I had a very uncomfortable uninviting nerve wrecking feeling to the point where I was close to getting into a verbal confrontation with the black American person at the register. This person was the only one in front and not a single customer on site but me. I walked over with a detergent to ask what the price was because no price tag. ( I walked up and said excuse me very politey and that person didn’t look. I repeated it “excuse me can I get a price check on this” standing at register person looks at me and says nothing. I thought person is having a bad day or what? So I repeated now with firmness Excuse me ? Still nothing just leaning against the register with not emotion very ill facial expresssion. I was at this point upset but didn’t show it. I was ready to ask what’s your problem but decided to let it go. The only word that came out without any eye contact was 17.99. Looked away and was off in he/she own world. When I was ready to check out 10 min later I was so glad to see a different checker and that other one was nowhere in sight. They called up another checker and I was ready to drop everything if it was he/she that came thank God it was someone else. Everyone here seems cool and always nice and respectful. Not sure what was going on with this person today. But me having worked in grocery for 20 plus years. Number 1 thing is customer service. This was the worse ever. I don’t care if you don’t say hi but show some respect. I don’t care if you are not concerned the product doesn’t have a shelf tag(even though you should) but show some respect. I don’t care if your own your phone, show some respect. Or find a new gig. I truly hate to leave such a review but this is how disgusted I was. We shop here often with our 3 kids. How do I go back after this! These review is solely on one person. I have no complaints elsewhere other than more organic products would be nice."
"Until I visited the Folsom Grocery Outlet store on Oct. 1 with a friend, I wasn't aware that each store is individually owned or operated. That explains why my neighborhood Grocery Outlet store in Carmichael has a wine inventory much less varied than the Folsom Grocery Outlet. The selection of wines on display at the Folsom store may actually rival your typical BevMo store. Also on display at the Folsom Grocery Outlet store was a very nice selection of summer & garden inventory at 50% off. I was very happy and surprised to find weather resistant tea stained American flag bunting for only $3.00 a piece!"
