"From the day they opened I have been a huge fan of Bamboo Asia! Their food is always fresh and delicious and with recipes from Vietnamese, Indian and Japanese fare there is something for everyone. I highly recommend you tell your company to order catering for lunch for your staff as it is always a fan favorite!"
"I use to visit their location in downtown San Francisco. The food is always delicious, healthy, and a great variety of Asian cuisine. I get something new every time I go."
"I have been waiting to try this place out since the construction on the restaurant began. I love the Asian diaspora as far as food goes. I also wanted something healthier after a weekend of eating whatever I wanted. This location is much closer to my office as there aren’t a ton of healthy food options in the area for a pedestrian. The workers were really warm and welcoming and the location looked super clean and organized. I ended up trying to go for the lite bowl but ended up upgrading to a full bowl. I was hungry and wanted more toppings. I am a bit disappointed on the portions of the rice I was given. I felt I needed more to soak up the rich and heavily sauced flavors from the toppings. I think more rice should be given without an extra charge or it should be advised to put extra sauce on the side. I am finding my food to be on the saltier side but I did get seaweed salad and sesame seeds as a topper. So that could be my fault as well. If you like Asian food and want to try something quick and easy other than bland Panda Express give this place a try. I’ll give it another chance for sure."
"I love this place. It is my go-to whenever I have the change buy lunch. I have only tried food from the Japan section. And everything I have tried so far is SUPER fresh and tasty. I have tried the tempura crunch roll as well as created my own roll. I also am a big fan of the Northern Catch rice bowl. I have also made my own rice bowl. The portions of the rice bowls are pretty huge. So you will have left overs. They don't skimp on the proteins either. They have eggplant chips which are super tasty and help balance out the bowls. I love the spicy mayo sauce too. The staff is super friendly as well. They will follow your instructions as well. One time, I forgot to tell them not to put a certain topping. They even offered to redo the whole bowl for me. I said it was ok. I'll just remember next time. I mostly do take out, but I also ate at the restaurant as well. It's super clean and has a modern and bright feel to it."
"I used to go here for lunch often before the pandemic and I'm glad to see them back open again! I like that you don't need to decide which of the three cuisines you want before you arrive, since they have Vietnamese, Japanese and Indian food on offer. My favorites are the Indian and Vietnamese salads or rice bowls. On my most recent visit, I had the Vietnamese spicy peanut pork rice bowl, subbed with tofu. It was tasty and a good portion size for lunch. Prices are relatively affordable (around $15), considering inflation."
