"Our first time trying this pizza place, we got a combo pizza. The toppings were pepperoni, sausage, peppers, olives, ham, and maybe mushrooms too. The crust was crisp on the bottom and absolutely delicious. I usually leave the crust out when I eat pizzas but I ate it this time. Toppings were very generous which I lovedddd. It came with some sort of cheesy dipping sauce which was also delicious. Only taking a star off because we’ve eaten better pizza in different states but this is my top choice in the area for sure!"
"I don't make it to this part of town that much anymore, partially because it's just always impossible to find a parking spot, and also there's not a whole lot of restaurants that I like here Asmara. I've walked by Pizza Ponte a few times, but was always in a rush or just not down for a slice. Tonight went in ordered their pepperoni took the slice and ate it out doors with their ghost chili sauce, and it was a truly great slice of pizza, good dough, fresh tasting ingredients, and obviously cooked in a really hot oven, which is the hallmark of New York style pizza. Almost all pizza in the Bay Area cost around $5 a slice now, and this was a little heavier and had more bulk than most, which made me happy. Also you can order a pizza here, and order one of the fine beers at the local bar next door the North Light, Which I did. (Nearly $10 for a pilsner is expensive as hell, but what are you going to do. That's Oakland these days) Great pizza, right next door to some great beer and drinks. Highly recommended!"
"I am eating the vegan pizza right now, and I had to stop to write this review. This pizza is amazing! The crust is a perfect combination of soft and crispy, and the vegan cheese is absolutely delicious. I happened upon this little place and I'm so glad I did! Would definitely come back."
"If you are buying by the slice, go here. This is the only legit East Coast style pizza in the Bay Area I've found so far, and I've looked a lot. As a 30 year Boston native who has been living in the Bay Area for the past 2 years, there is a surprisingly low amount of places to get quality pizza. A lot of places advertise themselves at East Coast pizza but it's clearly West Coast garbage. This place, however, clearly makes their own dough from scratch and they cook it right. The slices came out fresh and are massive - I bought two but really only needed one."
"Dissatisfaction- I ordered a Gyro not a diet Gyro ……2 thinly cut pieces were sat on top of a bunch of lettuce & other veggies. The slices of pizza where the size of NY , that’s the only thing I loved until I tasted it. It tastes 4days old. Eh I won’t do this again."
