"It’s been around forever Ok pricing depending on what your looking for"
"I just moved to the neighborhood and stopped by today to see what they have. I had a bag on me from my Little Italy's grocery. A guy followed me and ask me to leave the bag in the front. It felt awkward and racist. I left without seeing much. Everyone in the store was staring at me, even the cashiers. I always go shopping with my own bag. It was my first and last time there. It's bad, because is the nearest grocery from home."
"Horrible market, overpriced, grayish meat/poor quality overall. There’s these older gentleman that you can tell they’re management as they watch over the cashiers doing absolutely nothing to help as a line starts to form. I’m sure theres some corruption Edit: I forgot to mention I bought tortillas that surprised me with mold when I got home. The place is a dump no regulations what’s so ever and needs an inspection to shut down the place for good. Avoid this market! Can’t rate it any lower unfortunately!"
"I came here on a recommendation by a co-worker who claimed Big Ben Market had the best tacos he has ever had. So naturally I had to check this claim out. Well, the tacos weren't the best I had, but they were pretty good. Actually, they tasted better simply because the cashier that greeted me suggest I get the happy hour tacos (street tacos) which would only cost me a dollar a piece so instead of buying 2, I bought four and it was worth it. The store is very small, but they have a really well stocked produce section in the middle of the store. The place was clean, didn't smell foul, and it felt nice and quaint. The part I enjoyed learning is that the food served at the restaurant next store is actually a lot of the same food that the market sells so that made me feel better about possibly shopping here in the future"
