Reviews
"I was a little shocked to see so many negative reviews. I have ordered a few different times over the last couple of years and have always been happy with my products. They arrive in a timely manner, and CS has always been kind when replying to any questions I have had."
"***NEVER order anything fragile from this company! I will never order anything from them again. I would give zero stars if I could too, horrible customer service. I thought it was only my experience but now I am realizing that similar cases have happened to my country fellows or other customers who had tried this place. I ordered a Valentina hot sauce (among other products) and the bottle arrived broken as a result of improper packaging. When I wrote to complain, I added clear photos of the broken bottle. However, they declared that courier said that there was no evidence that the parcel was damaged since there was not external damage to the box, so customer service wanted more pictures to prove I wasn't lying to them. I took them even though I was in no mood or position to grab my cellphone because my kitchen and I were covered with red hot sauce. After sending more photos, the communication has ceased and they did not offer a refund or a discount (which I would not use) despite the fact that the cost of the bottle is little or at least as a curtesy. I bought previously from the Spanish franchise, and I noticed that almost all the products came either expired or had the expiration date covered, erased or the plastic label torn off. My logic was that maybe this was the matrix of the brand, and consequently; they won’t incur in these kinds of shady practices / sub-optimal experiences but that was a mistake. It is really hard to find some Mexican products where I live and I am paying top money for this service (/overpriced products) just to end losing time cleaning, writing endless emails, following up my case or with consumable products stained and with crystals."
"Ordered a lot of pantry items as well as several piepottery. Very pleased! Two boxes arrived quickly and carefully packed. Mixes were in well-sealed bags with extended expiration dates. Breakables were cushioned. Don't know what happened with the low reviews, but it gets an A+ from me and future purchases."
"Sent me the wrong order and 80 count corn tortillas had plastic tag that expired on Oct 3rd and I received my order on Oct 13th. They were nice to me over the phone and sent me the correct order the next day. But I noticed none of the product have expiration date and the plastic tag was replaced by a bread tie. I won't be ordering again."
"The tortilla press I bought from them was great! Until on the third use the handle broke. Then I discovered their return policy was only 1 month. Now I have a broken tortilla press. Add that to the several day wait on a response and a delivery date being 1.5 weeks after the estimate makes this a poor experience. Do not recommend."
