"Love the interior of this place. Very feminine and cute. Their lattes are also really tasty and we both got something mushroom. I got the toast and she got the quiche and both were very good. Service was quick and nice."
"Sugar & Scribe It’s a beautiful venue, but as a first timer, I was completely disappointed with the service and lack of concern from management to an extremely delayed meal. There were not enough servers assigned to handle the number of tables assigned. The kitchen was backed up on several meal items especially the pancakes (go figure)!!! When we asked what was going on, we were told they were 30 pancake orders behind. Four people out of six people received their food while two others sat there watching them eat. By the time the two other meals were served, everyone else had finished. Where in the heck was management!? This was not a Denny’s. Each meal cost $23 plus $5 coffee. —-we spent $180 for 6 people. Shame, shame, and more shame on management!"
"I have been here a few times and I love the Smothered and Covered Skillet. It's so filling! We also ordered the Butter Poached Lobster Benedict . We keep saying to ourselves we will try other dishes, but we go back to our usual orders. Will definitely come back to try other items. It does get busy here on the weekends and there are no reservations. We had some free time on a weekday morning so we found parking right away on the street, there was no line and food came out quick. Everyone there was so friendly and checked up on us multiple times. There is also a bakery inside the restaurant."
"A great spot for some eggs benny! They have quite a variety of food and it has a quirky with a fun twist to it. The S&S hot chocolate is too sweat for my liking so if you’re a chocoholic, avoid that drink! The homemade marshmallows are good. This place gets absolutely packed with people so try to arrive outside of the rush. Service suffers as a result of being too busy."
"I’ve been here twice now and love it! Both times I’ve gotten eggs Benedict, once with smoked salmon and the other with lobster. I highly recommend both of these dishes. You can either have them with potatoes or salad, I’ve ordered with the potatoes and they’ve been great! In my latest visit I ordered the cinnamon roll latte which was very tasty! Not as strong in coffee, but I’m pretty picky and don’t expect sweeter lattes to be as strong. Both times I’ve been on a Sunday, about a 30 minute wait for 2 people with a request to be inside (avoid people’s dogs). The waitress was nice, how speedy the service is definitely depends on how busy the restaurant is, as you’d expect. Sitting inside both times, it’s been pretty hot. They keep the door open so it doesn’t really give the a/c a chance to keep things cool. The setting is very cute inside and the bakery items look delicious, though I have yet to try!"
