"Chinese owned, so no good"
"Prices are a little too expensive. 2.68 for one pack of ramen?? Drinks a dollar more than any other convenience store"
"I lived in Ramona Gardens from 1978 to 1988. At one time, there were 3 little markets on that corner of Murchison and Lancaster. Nico's was the only one who would give my family a tab for food. My mom would send me to Nico's. Their staff would help me with my shopping list. Later, I would return with our booklets of Food Stamps... this was way before EBT cards. They did that for countless families in Ramona Gardens and the surrounding neighborhood. It was like a little village hidden away from the rest of society. If you ever lived there, you would be able to understand. Thank you, Nico's Market and your staff. I'm 45 years old now, but those memories of NICO'S MARKET I'll always carry with me. My godmother gave me a food stamp before they were phased out. She told me never forget where you came from... RAMONA GARDENS & BE PROUD OF IT, TOO... MIJO."
"This is your little neighborhood market with pretty much everything you might need. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint is the fresh meat market section closes early and probably doesn't sell a lot which sometimes leaves meat that is spoiled or bordering on. So to avoid that ask to smell it before you buy."
"We stayed at an airbnb close by so this market was close and convenient, limited selection with certain things but everyday things like coffee water paper towels it’s good. Overall nice little place"
