El Super #4

"I bought 3 lbs of shrimp that was spoiled. I tried to get the store to give me credit, but they denied it. It's happened twice before with pork meat. I've read a couple of other reviews here and I agree with them. There's a disgusting smell from the meat department at times. Needless to say, I won't be shopping at this El Super anymore."

"You can find, almost any Mexican kitchen stuff or food. The only thing I don't like it's the huge lines. Las linias son ridiculas. Habren muy pocas cajas. And the microwave stuff is way off the top more expensive than it has to be."

"This is a great place to get groceries for cheap without sacrificing quality too much. I often check out prices between El Super and Superior Grocers for the best prices in the area. I'm no expert in Mexican cuisine but the place does have a huge variety of groceries catered toward that culture of food. It has a huge stand with all kinds of Mexican cheese! When I need to cook in bulk, I often come here for the boneless chicken legs deal. There is a huge variety of other types of meat, including marinated ones. They also sell whole chicken as well as chicharrons. The store itself looks a bit beat down on the outside, but inside it's pretty well lit and clean. Comparable to Ralph's. The fridges area are pretty welcoming and a friend told me the bakery section has a type of flavored bollio bread that are usually sold out by night time. Side note: I usually come during late evening so the store isn't too busy. But during the day time, depending on the day, it can get pretty hectic especially at the cahsier section. Each cashier station has a divider and 2 run ways. It's supposed to allow each customer time to pack their things while the cahsier move on to the next customer. However, their are shelves in the way and it doesn't operate as intended. This can cause minor "traffic" at the checkout that works against their favor."
