Reviews
"I'm giving this review STRICTLY BECAUSE OF THE FACT OF ITS NEIGHBORS WHO HAVE LOCATED THEMSELVES DIRECTLY IN FRONT AND SIDES OF THE PARK. some have no interest or care of what you are doing or your own reasoning for visiting the park and their great they are real people mind their, but others will straight up call the cops if you park across their street on the park side of the street but directly in front of their home. No one should be allowed to go ahead and ruin someone's day because they have a vehicle parked in front of their. It's a PUBLIC PARK AND A PUBLIC STREET! GET ON WITH YOUR LIFE AND MIND THAT WHICH BELONG TO YOUR OWN PROPERTY. Some people park their and walk to their place of work to avoid the problems or vandalizing of their cars. So being said they trust that neighborhood and its visitors so last thing they need to worry about is the people's attending the park in front of their house. Otherwise THE PARK WAS CLEAN TRASHES WHERE EMPTIED GRASS IS MOWED WEEKLY AMD EDGED THERE'S BBQ PITS PLUS A GAZEBO"
"This park is close to my house so I go there a lot. The bigger kids' playground has been burned and closed off for quite some time though. There are a lot of children in the area. I wish they would renovate it for the children. The park is in a nice neighborhood on two sides and a poor neighborhood on the other two sides. I often wonder if it would have been fixed already if it was located in a rich neighborhood. There is a separate playground intact for younger children. It's perfect for those that are beginners to walking, running, and the swift movements that are almost always part of the better kids' playground. Also, a big oak tree branch cracked and fell over part of the sidewalk. The branch was about 24 inches in diameter at the crack location. It's been a couple of weeks and it's still laying across the sidewalk. I enjoy walking through the park with a friend and our Chihuahuas and I use it as part of my morning jog. A lot of people use this park. I think during the summer on Friday afternoons between 3 pm and 5 pm, tons of people gather, barbeque, socialize, and watch the young people play soccer, cricket, or some other game. Everyone is there to enjoy the shade, the outdoors, good food, and the great company of others. There don't appear to be any sprinklers which means the grass will end up dry but it also means you don't have to worry about getting an unexpected wet surprise."
"I've lived in this neighborhood for almost 15 years, and this park is such a little gem. Today, everything was clean and mowed. Unfortunately, the playground area is still fenced off due to someone trying to burn the play structure. It's such a shame, as this is such a family oriented park. The little kids' structure is still functional, but the bigger kids are missing out a bit. Overall, I love our park."
"small neighborhood space for walk and relaxation.. has been increasingly overpopulated constantly by new immigrants from mid east who have been housed close by.. close to home so very convenient for short bouts of exercises.."
