"A visit to the State Capitol will not disappoint. There is so much to see, more than one trip is highly recommended. As a Sacramento native, I have walked, talked and gawked my way around the Capitol grounds more times than I can remember. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed."
"Not all that pretty right now because the plants are completely bare. It's also a bit smaller than I thought, but it's still very pretty. I'm excited to have my micro wedding here but hopefully there will be some more plant growth by then. The gazebo, fountain, and arches are so romantic!"
"This is where my husband and I said our wedding vows in the beautiful Rose Garden on October 16Th 2022, the flowers surrounding us and all of our guests was so amazing and beautiful,if I had to pick a place to renew our vows again this definitely would be my choice"
"It’s a beautiful little park, where people go to have pictures taken for weddings, graduations etc. Very peaceful, we were there for the start of the Ride of Silence and we enjoyed it very much. There are clean restrooms just behind the Capitol. It was very quite because it’s a Sunday and they closed the other side of the Capital for the new addition new Annex."
"Great and free attraction right in middle of the city. So you can combine this with a visit and take free tours of the Senate. The roses in various colors and hues are the main attraction. Behind this magnificent garden (that is so well maintained by the ground staff), there is a peace memorial & multiple benches. Not to mention an entire park over 5 blocks and multiple trees from different parts of the world, all labeled. Try to pick earlier in the morning for best lighting and avoiding the crowds. Popular spot for graduation pics, so plan accordingly."
