"Went here when my grandkids and daughter-in-law. Had such a great time love all the airplanes next door at the museum too."
"My visit here with my daughters was Great and my youngest of 22mths was able to climb up almost all the items, my 5yr old loved the speed tubes at the 3rd level the most, both daughters had a great time. The only issue I had while here even tho the park has so many great things to offer, the fact that the homeless people take full advantage of the open bathrooms during the day being that there permanent parking locations are only a 2 min walk from them. The smelly guy that was taking over the Men's restroom had stuff by the doorway, clogged 1 toilet and had his food items on both sinks and of course the Patrol Company was no where to be seen or a phone number found to call them.. plus the toilet sets were horrible and the ventilation fans weren't working.. noy great for small children when they need to use the restroom. Overall happy to come back many more times because we love the park but willing to try a few others til the area is a little better managed."
"This park blew me away with the biggest slides I have seen at a public park. The theme is space shuttles. It has the big slide, climb and explore area, a smaller area for the littles, a ride on area, splash pad for cooling off and several big covered bench areas. This park does have little shade if toy are not under the covered areas...but sometimes that is okay!"
"Freedom Park is a beautiful park that is taken care of by North Highlands Recreation and Park District. Located next to the California Aerospace Museum, the park is in an excellent location. The park itself has a large play structure that was perfect for my four year daughter to play at. In addition, the park features a Splash Pad, Tot Lot, swings, and a lot of open space for kids to run around."
