WorldMark Oceanside 1301 Carmelo Drive, Oceanside, CA 92054

"Not a bad place, they just suffer from being so close to the freeway. View of the ocean on 4th floor is nice, until you open the door and hear the freeway noise and not ocean waves. Supposedly our room was "renovated" well, blue painters tape in several locations still left. Only two towel racks (one right above the toilet paper roll... genius! ) No towel rack or rung/ring for your hand towel at the sink. Forget trying to hang up your pool towels to dry... I probably wouldn't choose this particular Worldmark location in the future. I raised my kids in Oceanside and when I saw them squeeze this place in I always wondered how nice it would be. We left the area 12 yrs ago...and visiting with friends this past week...everyone of them said crime was down in Oceanside...so, that's a plus. The pool and Jacuzzi were a must every day. Great distance to our activities at Legoland."

"Clean units, friendly staff, good amenities! Our family has been coming for years. Our most recent trip end of summer, Leo made a great effort with the activities for the kiddos. Very friendly, outgoing and patient. Helped my son some of the Origami crafts and the bubble activity, assisting the kids! Made it super fun and positive!"

"I really enjoy worldmark resorts. Been to several across multiple states. The location of this is great. Literally walking distance with a tunnel leading straight to oceanside harbor. Gorgeous views of the harbor and ocean, especially at night from our room. Very clean and updated room with many great anemities to enjoy on site. But the reason I gave it 4 stars.... Having the train tracks right beside the hotel brings alot of noise. Throughout the day practically every 10 minutes. And at night, the cargo trains roll through as well. It grew annoying trying to sleep around 1 am and hearing a train slowly roll by."

"When my husband went to check in at 4:15, our room was not ready. We went down the road to get a bite to eat and they called at 4:45 to let us know it was ready. Mind you, checkout is at 10am., so the room should've had plenty of time to be done by 4pm. They are in the process of renovating the rooms. Our room had fresh paint and flooring and new appliances, which were nice, however, we were on the 3rd floor and right above the work area storage and dumping area, so not a pleasant patio area for morning coffee, fresh air and view. Staff should know where work is being done in the complex, and to not put people in that vicinity. The beach and boardwalk were nice, but this particular timeshare was just not my favorite this time around."

"We have been coming here for 16 years and have always had a great experience until now. The building is being renovated which I understand but no water for over 7 hours? Come on, seriously? I have called twice and each time I am told it will be turned on shortly. We just returned from the beach and none of us can wash the sand off. This is NOT ok. The noise and disruption of our vacation is unacceptable. Add to that the constant harassment by staff to attend an owners meeting? Are you for real, why would you think i would want to sit through a one hour spiel after this? This had always been my happy place until now. I think it's time to go somewhere else. Get it together staff at Worldmark Oceanside. Take care if your owners!"
