"Went to try out the tennis courts for the 1st time with my partner but ended up leaving less than 20 mins later thanks to racism. When we got there, we waited for a court to open and no one else was waiting. 15 mins into playing, a Karen walks onto the court and asks us when we’ll be done. I tell her that we just got there. She goes on to “inform” us that her racket was in the fence and that means they were next in line for a court. Mind you, there was no one else waiting when we got there and we don’t know of some rule that you stick your racket in the fence as a waitlist lol. We told her we’d be another 10 mins and her and her little posse stared as the entire time until we just left. It was extremely uncomfortable and felt targeted. Sucks cos the courts were decent."
"This park has always been a favorite. Lush green grass, shade trees to sit under. Tennis courts, sidewalks to walk or ride a bike on Not sure if bikes are allowed. Goid place to walk your dog. Quiet usually. Very peaceful. Surrounded by a residential area."
"Big park. Quiet, perfect for exercise and dog walks."
"Nice Saturday afternoon. Really surprised to see so few people there. Definitely not what I'm used to. Where I come from parks are packed on the weekends. Anyway, so peaceful and lots of shade and trees. My stroll through the property was a casual 1.22 miles."
"I love this park, my main reason to come here is to use their tennis courts. The park is well taken care, they have bleachers, big area to either walk or run and plenty of tennis courts. The tennis courts are outdated and not in the best of shape, but you get used it. It would be nice if they update them though. I’ve seen plenty of people walking their dogs, having parties or get together. They also have restrooms, I’ve noticed that the men’s does not have any lights when you use them at night but maybe I am wrong."
