"It is amazing that we live in area that has so much beauty. The hike to the gazebo is steep, but a great workout. There is frisbee golf, basketball courts, picnic tables, a memorial, and vast areas of free space to run around. It is a great park to get out and get fresh air, take the kids to run around (or roll down the hill like I used to as a kid), take your animals for a walk, or even just to relax. They playground is wonderful for all ages! The bigger playground has some bigger climbs and gaps, so just be cautious if you have a younger one."
"Amazing environment for families, children, gatherings, functions, events, birthday parties and the list can go on. Love the concrete walking path around the park as well as the gazebo at the top of the hill providing an amazing view of Lompoc. Also has a disc golf course that is amazing"
"LOVE, LOVE, LOVE... lots of things for everyone and so beautiful to be set against the hills. I would want to see more bike paths and resurfaced basketball courts for skating though."
"What a beautiful park! We are from out of town and went here for a birthday party. We were shocked, in a good way, at how great this park is. The playground, which is inclusive, is very big and very new. The kids loved it. There were basketball courts also and lots of open space. There were two large pavilions with picnics that you can rent. Ground squirrels were everywhere and not afraid of people. They were fun to watch. The only slight downside was the restrooms. They were quite old. But they worked and were clean. We will go here again the next time we are in town."
"18 holes of disc golf fun! Needs a new course map, but it's easy enough to find the tees."
