"A great local resource for a classic no-frills sandwich, and a huge variety of snacks and beverages, plus economical fresh produce. Not an imported ham sort of place, and priced accordingly. Service is fast, excellent, and price is on point. Great deal, convenient location. Highly recommended."
"My favorite local place to shop! The staff is always kind and welcoming and very helpful. The shelves are well stocked. Always a pleasure doing business here."
"I love this store. Family business very clean shelves always full. The meat counter is bomb this is a one stop shop with nose rings house products EVERYTHING. Most importantly the service here is respectful"
"I haven't been in Richmond long, but this was the first place I came to when I started living here and walking in there is like I've been here my whole life. Nice cashiers, nice atmosphere, literally get everything here. Great prices on alcohol and meat. Parking is almost always available at times. Definitely recommend."
"For a neighborhood market in an economically challenged area, this is a surprisingly good place. From the outside, it looks like a larger version of the many liquor stores/bodegas/convenience stores that litter this area. But it's not that. It really is a small grocery store. Yes, they have lots of junky food, sugary drinks, beer, cheap wine and liquor. But they also have a decent produce section, a full service butcher (who operates as a separate business) and lots of decent quality staples - canned goods, pasta, rice, sundries, canned goods, etc. And they aren't expensive! More expensive than a large supermarket like Safeway or Lucky? Yes. But less expensive than Andronico's or Whole Foods. With their selection and pricing, you could easily serve you and your loved ones decent, non-junky food at reasonable cost. In the future, if my list doesn't justify travelling by car to my closest large supermarket, this is where I'll be shopping! While I was there, I took a photo of their produce section (which Google says should appear "shortly"). I also looked for - but did not find - a sign with their hours. When I got home, I tried calling the number Google Maps shows, but got a generic voice mail. If I can find out the hours somehow - I'll add them to the listing."
