"Absolutely outrageous prices. Basic foods such as canned beans, rice, etc. are insanely overpriced. Marking up things such as soda is not surprising, but marking up basic foods is criminal. The owner should be punished for his disgusting prices."
"I've bought rotted yogurt and frost bitten ice cream and returned the same day and I was told there was nothing they could do about it. Once that it was my fault yes they are friendly but bad food isn't nice at all. And their prices can be crwcraz Crazy"
"Usually go for the Chicken Snitchal I think that's what it's called and it's in the deli. It's expensive but very well made. And I usually cut that up and put it in the Ceasars Salad that is packaged and in the refrigerator. Gotta say I end up paying twenty five dollars just for that so be prepared. They also have good pastries. And a nice staff."
"Prices 30%+ higher than at Target in the same homeless-occupied neighborhood. Or even double, eg. for blueberries. One staple item to compare is a can of Monster White Ultra, 16 fl oz. It's $3.39 at Harvest Urban Market, and only $2.69 at Target. That's 26% more for nothing extra. It's not organic or fresher or anything. Speaking of organic, the store has surprisingly few healthy foods. Mostly convenience store stuff (sodas, chips). Really no reason to go here when there's Whole Foods a few minutes away, or Target, depending on what your budget and preferences are. Also, high risk of encountering homeless people inside. They may or may not be harmless."
"Located at the heart of San Francisco, srounded by old houses. There are lots of homeless sitting on the side walk, but it is clean near this shop. The shop clark is friendly. They carry lots of fresh vegitables and fruits, including some local farm's."
