"Very disappointed. I have been purchasing from Joanne for many years and regularly use the Corte Madera location. Today's experience was extremely unpleasant, a neglected shop, fabrics and objects thrown in all directions, incompetent and offensive staff. The person cutting the fabrics seemed annoyed by the presence of the customers and disinclined to respond to any request for help. When at the checkout I asked for clarification on a price, not only was it not provided to me, but a young cashier - named Isabel - made disrespectful inferences about my language. Sad."

"Wanda was so helpful. She knew the right fabric and the right measurements. Not only was she knowledgeable, but she was friendly and professional. Real customer service is so rare these days, but Wanda is an exception. Her customer service is 5 stars. Thank you Wanda!"

"The Corte Madera location has gone downhill under this management. Inventory is low. Sold out patterns are not restocked. The manager hides the sales for their patterns. She shuffles through stalks of sales signs, then goes over to patterns to further verify, but she doesn’t put sign up after this. Prior management wax proud of their sale by even posting them on their doors. Patterns were kept in stock. This store is fishy and stingy. Hire new management."

"Joann’s has a limited section for water color but I guess it’s mainly a fabric store and not an art store. The staff is super friendly and very hopeful. The store in Larksburg is located in a very convenient location. Easy to get on and off the freeway."
