Lakeshore Fiberglass Pools

"Lakeshore Pools/Tom Rodenborn (owner) installed our fiberglass pool in 2008. We chose fiberglass over other pool types for well-documented reasons. Before starting the process with Lakeshore Pools I checked reviews and spoke with several of Tom’s former clients. I found nothing negative and everyone I spoke with spoke very highly of Tom and his crew. Lakeshore installed our pool with in-floor cleaning system and electric heat pump (we love both), a retaining wall with French drain, a paver sidewalk with drains that lead to our storm drain, and assembled/installed outdoor kitchen cabinets that we purchased through one of Tom’s suppliers. I don’t know that Lakeshore still does all of these types of things, but their work was phenomenal! Tom is a great person to work with. He is honest, trustworthy, respectful, hardworking and fair which can be a rarity. Lakeshore still opens our pool each year and winterizes our pool too. They continue to provide great service. We highly recommend Lakeshore Pools to anyone interested in adding a backyard retreat!"

"We purchased our Viking Pool through Tom Rodenborn/Lakeshore Pools at the end of the year 2011, and Tom and his crew installed it in the Spring of 2012. We love it, and we love Tom and his crew. We have, and will continue to recommend him. He is a kind, trustworthy, sincere, patient professional. I can’t say enough good things about Tom and his crew. Our back yard is a large incline, so Tom and his crew had to dig down in, build up, and flatten our pool area. They were patient with us. (Well, patient with me, I was indecisive about a “few” things.) After installation, which by the way was amazing, Tom explained in detail how to take care of the pool. He was patient with me as I was taking notes, and asking questions. His crew built two retaining walls for us. And, when I called back to see if we can add more to the ends of one of the retaining walls, Tom’s reply was, we got it, no problem. We also built a pool house w/basement storage at the back side of the pool. I was so indecisive concerning the construction of the pool house, (I’m sure you can tell my indecisiveness with the retaining walls...) so it was another year before our construction was done. Every time I would talk to Tom, he'd ask how our pool house was coming along, and he would remind me to be sure to clean the pool and keep the filter clean. We use Tom to winterize the pool each year, and open it each spring. I still call or email him when I have questions, and he is always so kind. (I remember when that trailer and pool were stolen from Tom. I know he was sick about it, and we were sick for him and his client. I can absolutely believe what Tom went through to get you taken care of. That just goes to show what kind of business man and friend Tom is.) April is almost here! Yeah. See you soon guys! "My wife and I hired Tom Rodenborn of Lakeshore Pools Inc. in October, 2012, to supply and install an inground fiberglass swimming pool in our backyard. We decided on a certain week for the construction so that I could take a week’s vacation to landscape during the construction. Unbelievably, the week before the install, a thief stole our pool shell and Tom’s trailer. Tom went to extraordinary lengths to get another shell manufactured, get another large trailer and drive back to Virginia to pick up the pool to keep the install on schedule knowing I had already planned my vacation. The complete installation took six days which Tom estimated it would take with no additional costs or charges. Tom and his men were very professional and kept the disturbance to our yard to a minimal area. In October of 2013, we had Tom return to winterize our pool and install a safety cover. Both times Tom’s work has been flawless and first class. We get many positive comments on our pool and would not consider anyone else but Tom Rodenborn and Lakeshore Pools for any future swimming pool needs. "I met Tom 4 years ago when we were looking to install a pool in our backyard. We met with 5-6 pool installer. We really were impressed of Tom on how honest and trustworthy he was from the beginning. We were hesitant in getting a Viking pool initially, because we were not necessarily happy with the shape of pools they had for our backyard. However, from all the installers we met, Tom was the only one we felt we could trust. The installation went very smoothly and we had no complications with our install and Tom's workers were very respectful of our property and our wishes. We continue to use Tom for maintenance of our pool which means he comes in the spring to open the pool and comes in the the fall to close the pool. After 4 years, Tom treats my family like an extension of his own. If I call with a question or problem with the pool, he answers my concerns right away. And if he doesn't know the answer, he will get you in touch and help find the person who will know what to do. He has done this numerous times for me when I have had issues such as pool clarity and heat pump warranty issues. Building a pool is a big investment and you want someone you can trust to do the job right so you can enjoy your investment for many years. Tom is the guy you want doing this job. I know of others who have had their pool installed by Tom. They think very highly of him. We all marvel how well he is to his customers and available he is to them."
