"My wife received a pedicure about a year ago that lead to an ingrown toenail & an infected toe. She went to a podiatrist who painfully injected her toe to numb it then cut only part of the toenail out. It was a horrible, horrible experience. A year later, the ingrown came back leaving her struggling to walk. Scarred from her last visit to a podiatrist, she reluctantly decided to make an appointment at Poplar Podiatry. A night and day difference. Dr Ashbury was very nice and personable. All of the pain my wife experienced having the last ingrown removed didn't occur. Not sure if Dr Ashbury used a different method or what but the previous doctor left her with a 10/10 pain during the procedure. With Dr. Ashbury, her pain was a 2/10 maybe. Dr Ashbury also pointed out the last Dr left the toenail! He missed a chunk of it. Dr Ashbury was very thorough and made sure to get the toenail at the root to prevent this from returning as much possible. We highly highly recommend poplar podiatry!"
