"I have been there with my mother and food was good, prices were reasonable but the only thing I just didn't understand, why I had to pay a mandatory tip??! When we finished our food and after I paid my bill, we were about to leave but we were stopped by a middle age woman I guess she was the manager and she pointed the bill and said the tip is not included ??! And somehow protested us. At the first I was confused because I have never seen something like that before in this country, I have never been questioned about paying tip?! Then when she saw me as shocked brought me a paid bill from another customer which was included tip for 11 dollars and pretended every customer must pay percentage as a tip. I have never seen something like this before and I won't go there any more."
"I hope we have well passed the times when people wince when I mention a restaurant in a shopping center/ strip mall. When you decide to go to Hot Wok the first thing I want you to know is that all the staff is super friendly. Everyone will talk to you and make you feel truly welcome. As for the food, my wife and I started off with gyoza. It was perfectly fried as they had a nice crunch. My wife had the egg drop soup and I had the hot and sour. Both soups had great flavor but I preferred the hot soup. As for our meals my wife went with the cashew chicken lunch special. This dish had a truly great flavor. The contrasting textures added a great dimension. I went with the fried pork chop in Peking sauce. I am truly a fan of pork chops, especially fried. They were perfectly fried, they were tender and with the sauce a little messy but we’ll work it. I can’t wait until my wife and I can go back to try something else."
"Great place for a big group to share food with one another. Friendly staff, too. Definitely order some wonton and the honey walnut shrimp"
"The food is excellent but I'm giving this rating for the service. Out for dinner with my sons and everyone else around us was being taken care of except us. I had to signal to our waiter to get service. As people were leaving they were told good bye, we weren't even acknowledged. Unfortunately we won't be going back and it's sad because this was always our go to for take out or delivery."
"I have not been to this Chinese Restaurant in many years, it was pretty good back then. I went last night and the service was impeccable. Jenny our server was on point. She poured water, sake and beers for me. She even boxed up our food to go. Unlike other places where they just hand you your box. The food was good, fresh especially the Orange Chicken. I will be going back and so will you."
