"Came in to pick up some items for dinner and asked for the restroom code but was told the restroom closes every night at 5. Don’t recommend shopping here if you are human with basic human needs they clearly don’t care about their customers."

"ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! There were RATS and ROACHES on the property!!! Disgusting place and the supervisor, Tony, didn’t even care! There was rotten meat in the shelves, the cheese had mold, and the chips had holes from the rodents!! I would never shop at this disgraceful place ever again!! The department of health needs to come look at this place, it is a public safety hazard!!"

"This store is quite overpriced in my opinion, but I guess that's pretty standard in the Bay Area. Check out lines can get really long, but that is because they typically don't have enough registers open, because there is not enough staff to run them. It's incredibly aggravating to wait 20+ minutes just to pay and get out of the store. To compound this frustration, if they don't have an employee to supervise and watch over the self-checkout, it gets shut down and people really start stacking up in the line for the one cashier. Giving it three stars for now, but that's very generous. Rating subject to change."

"One of the biggest grocers in oakland. I went on a Wednesday and they had lots of newly stocked fresh fruit and vegetables. I love taking my mom for the 5 for $5 special on meat. Only thing I don't like is the fact that they're crowded on most days and they don't have a lot of exotic fruit choices."

"Everything seems to be atleast a dollar more than it should be. They sold a expired fruit sampler i picked up. Smelled and tasted sour. I tried to call customer service and got no answer. I think i remember seeing a no refunds on card sign on their door so I guess I must be out of $5. Would not really recommend for daily shopping, stick to the deals, there was a couple surprising vegan deals but overall it’s really pricey and doesn’t have enough cashiers."
