"I rented an online text book. The time frame given was 2 hours before I was able to receive access to the book. Over 24 hours later, I still had not received my book. I had to do an online rental because I’m a virtual student. I cannot make the commute to campus. After two days, I called the book store to find my order. I explained that I bought the book and it has not yet Ben delivered to my email. The lady I spoke with snapped at me and she said “you did not buy it. Since it’s not fulfilled, it means we have not received payment. So you did not purchase or rent anything. Just wait for it. Or come in and buy it again”. So after being screamed at like a child over falsely buying a book that I 100% bought, I had no choice but to have somebody in Knoxville go to campus and rent it for me. I had a deadline 48 hours after the book was bought. And after 48 hours it still had not been delivered (I was supposed to receive in 2 hours as previously mentioned). When the person arrived at the book store to rent it digitally to my email for me, the person at the front told him he MUST do it online and they cannot do it in store. However, the person I spoke with on the phone with told me I could. After him going through 3 different people, the manager finally was able to have Hume rent it to my email and I instantly received my disgústala copy of the book. I called the bookstore again to have them cancel my online order since we went In person to buy it…. And they never did. After they reassured me they will cancel my order I got charged for the book twice. From the online order and the I person order. I called the book store a total of 45 times to get this refunded and each time I got a voice message that they couldn’t take my call. I finally got ahold of somebody this morning. They said they didn’t cancel it (even tho they said they would days ago) because they lost my order number.. and finally refunded the amount to me this morning and the charge is still pending. Worst experience I’ve ever had in any store. Every. Horrible communication. Horrible customer service. Especially cause I was snapped at for simply asking why the book I BOUGHT wasn’t “bought”. So glad I’m not attending Pelli anymore and wouldn’t wish this experience on anybody else."

"Graduated from Pellisippi State a few years ago. Is a wonderful place to go to college. They do everything they can to help you help yourself to succeed. Nice campus. Great teachers. Caring staff."

"I ordered a hat and shirt for a last minute grad gift. I pd for express shipping, hoping it would be here in time. The shirt was out of stock but the management promptly notified me and sent recommendations of what they had in stock in the size I needed. The hat made it in plenty of time and the replacement shirt must've been mailed very promptly after receiving my choice. It arrived 1 day after I made the choice. Great job!"

"The book for my class was out of stock until 3 and a half weeks into the semester. My class is only 10 weeks so I missed over 30% of my assignments. Rarely does anyone answer the phone, and then you'll walk in to find 3-4 employees standing around chatting. Wildly unorganized. Edit: 1 year later and they've done it again. Sold me an online code for a book that they had already sold to someone else. The code did not work and I was told I couldn't be issued a refund until the issue was resolved. This was also the last issue of the book so now I've missed another week waiting for stock. I'm finally here to get the book and I've waited 30 minutes for the manager to bring me an envelope. I really wish zero stars was an option."

"College bookstore so not very low prices. Staff is very knowledgable about what books are required for what classes. Get there early during the start of the semester because the lines are horrible."
