"Do not buy from Homepick we paid for two similar color countertops for our small kitchen renovation and received two different colors. Absolutely unacceptable and terrible customer service. When we asked for a refund we were conveniently told that the owner just left for vacation today and couldn't be reached. Shocker."
"I decided to give them 1 star because of the appalling service. I came here in search of vanity and to remodel our home. I met an elderly saleswoman named Hanh. She has no knowledge of the products in the store she sells. She gave us rather very curtly answers to our inquiries. She made us feel uncomfortable while selling to us. Since we are consumers, it is proper to inquire about the goods we intend to purchase. Even while helping us, she left the conversation to do something else and never returned. Her demeanor, expertise, and service attitude have left me feeling extremely let down. Avoid this area if you don't want to spend time. In case you have to come back here to buy, then especially avoid a salesperson named HANH."
"It's so bad customer service. I bought a glass door for bathroom without any brand. I asked for check the technical term but they refuse to support even I request for paying service. So disappointed. I will strongly recommend NOT to buy products from this company anymore."
"I recently had my flooring (removing carpet and installing vinyl) done with Home Picks. I have lots of experience dealing with contractors during home remodeling projects, but this was by far my worst experience: 1. I mainly worked with the salesman, Kevin, to pay for the materials and labor throughout the whole process. He told me I would only paid the workers for 2 things: 1) $50-$100 tips for moving big furniture around the room and 2) $50-$100 when the contractor pick up the carpets from my house. However, it was not that simple how I had thought. After removing the carpets, the contractor wanted to charge me $500. I told him that I was not aware of this extra charge and told him that I would check with Kelvin to confirm if that was the case since it was not on the contract between him and I. I called Kevin the next day and he clarified that I would only need to pay $100 when the carpets get picked up and nothing else to the contractor, and he also said he did not know why the contractor wanted to charge extra me on aside. Good thing that I checked with Kelvin, otherwise, the contractor would have gotten my $500 extra. 2. Other reasons that I was not very happy with the contractors: a. They did not cover up all the items inside my house throughout the process, causing everything get dusted. b. They expected us to clean up their trash at the end of the day, which included empty boxes from the vinyl, left-over vinyl, and vinyl dust from sawing. We had to clean our whole garage every day after they left and put everything neatly for them to come back and use the next day. c. They scratched and scraped the wall paint in every room that they worked on. My house was built 6 years ago and it was newly painted, but this crew was not careful when they were carrying things (vinyl boxes and carpets) around the house. d. The crew did not put the furniture back to the original location. e. As part of the contract, all trash for project was supposed to be picked up. However, the contractor had sneaked a lot of the trash into our home trash cans, where I had no room to throw my personal trash. Our trashcans were full and we were 4 days away from pick-up day! I had to call Kelvin to get the contractor come back to pick up all his trash. f. They scratched and ripped my furniture. g. The contractors were inexperienced and not detail-oriented. You basically had to point out what needed to be fixed; otherwise, they would left it alone and considered their work was done. h. They did not install door stops back in each room for you. i. Kelvin was patronizing and kept calling me "Little Girl" during our conversations. Female-customers beware, he will not treat you with respect! Don't waste your money and time here, spending more money on dependable contractor may be a better option."
"I was hesitant to place my order for tile here, based on the reviews I saw. However, their prices were VERY competitive and I just can't resist a bargain, and what could go wrong? Well nothing went wrong, in this case. In fact, everything went extraordinarily well. Not only were prices much lower than I've seen elsewhere, their delivery charges were, too. I used to think that Tile Mile in Anaheim was the end-all and be-all for flooring. Not any more. My treks to Anaheim are over, thanks to Home Expo. Ken gave me excellent service and was very pleasant to deal with. I have been recommending them since I placed my order a month ago. Today, i placed another order for more tile and am looking forward to the good quality, excellent service and pleasant transaction again. PS: I was surprised to see that tile is not the only thing they sell. ANYTHING for the home can be had here. -Claire"
