"I purchased 10 yd^3 of their 50-50 mix, which Agromin described on their website as "a versatile, amended topsoil blend designed for used in all applications in landscaping." Further that it "is great for use when planting vegetables." But nothing would grow--seeds wouldn't come up, seedlings planted in the soil refused to grow and became very sick. Finally, I had the soil analyzed by a commercial lab. Among the results, the sulfur content stood out: 1018 ppm versus a preferred level of about 30 ppm. This made the soil phytotoxic--poisonous to plants. Agromin did refund my money, but refused anything more. So I'm left with a toxic mess of a garden that will cost hundreds of dollars to fix. Apparently, Agromin has poor quality control and an unwillingness to help mitigate the problems they cause."
