"Don't bother ordering online unless you have a store close to you. They make you come in and show your ID and credit card in person. You would think that they could figure out how to do ID verification online. Very frustrating as I spent a ton of time finding what I wanted, looking at multiple stores, only to get a phone call saying that I would need to drive over an hour to the store if I wanted to buy anything from them. Now I have to scramble to get something else before the contractors come to work on my half disassembled floors."

"I’m writing this review on behalf of my parents who had a tough and emotionally exhausting experience working with LL Flooring on their staircase remodel. My parents have lived in their home since 1998 and after many years decided to modernize the carpet staircase of their forever home with an updated wood look. In August 2022, my parents first received an estimate from LL Flooring in San Jose on Blossom Hill Rd. for remodeling their carpet staircase. They were initially pleased with their staff and service until it came time for the delivery, execution, and payment on the project. Both my parents and I have engaged in working with contractors on multiple projects and have never paid in full for a project upfront. The management at LL Flooring referring to what’s called a “California Performance Bond” forced my parents into paying the full amount upfront with misleading promises that everything would be fine and they would be happy with the results and financially protected by this “bond”. We recommend anyone working with this company on any project to be careful to not fall victim to this. I’m sure LL Flooring is usually a great company to work with and they probably do great work installing flat and level hard wood flooring. It’s unfortunate that for my parents’ home given that it’s a more intricate curving staircase LL Flooring chose a contractor/installer that could not delivery a quality final product. My parents have reached out to their management multiple times with no success for any type of resolution, fix, alteration, or even refund after having now regretfully paid for the project in full. A picture is worth a thousand words and anyone looking into doing a staircase or intricate flooring project with LL Flooring should probably consider taking a look at these photos first."

"Arrived for an 8 am delivery appointment, out by 9 am. Definitely fast and friendly. I entered Winfield Blvd through the back. Make sure tandems are adjusted for best turning radius at this facility."
