"Second edit: after a phone conversation with the manager, I came in to the store and everything was fixed. I’ve now got another coat of paint on the wall and all is well. The manager is very experienced and knowledgeable. Update: I opened this can of fresh paint and started applying it to the wall, only to find large flecks of color as I went. It was not mixed thoroughly. I just have to laugh, because I walked into this paint store for the very first time today, only to be told that I was crazy for wanting to pick out colors from a painting to use for an accent wall ON A SATURDAY. Directed to the color samples upfront, within 30 seconds I turn around to find another employee has voluntarily engaged a nice young couple a few feet away from me consulting on the colors they wanted to pick out. Okay??? Am I missing something? I picked my color and re-engaged with the grizzled old guys in the back. A few minutes and $57 later, I walked out with my gallon of paint. I like supporting local independent shops and it’s nice that this one is not crowded, but it was not a great experience customer service wise."

I recently asked for product guidance for a complex tool chest repair project and even though Gray's Paint didn't carry the products I ultimately needed, I was met with the highest level of customer service one can expect. They gave me a detailed response not only recommending what products to buy and where to get them, but also a list of steps I can follow to restore the tool chest.
