"Best hardware store ever! I went in for a part for Grohe kitchen faucet, even though they don't have it, they called the owner to help me find the part. My neighbor told me if I can't find the part, I have to buy a brand new set which is very expensive. Papenhausen not only answer me so many questions about kitchen faucet brands also reassure my confidence for Grohe. Not just that, Papenhausen Google and found the part for me. I offer to buy a Grohe new set from Papenhausen as a thank you gesture for the guiding light, but Papenhausen want to save me money and let me order the part on line myself. It's not just that, each staff is like the most kind human being love to find out answers and helping people, I truly love this store. For me, it's better than ordering from Amazon or go directly to Home Depot. & If they can't find something I need, they always point out direction. I stopped going to Target or Amazon for hardwares because even seeing these nice people in Papenhausen, make me feel San Fran is still wonderful."

"I love hardware stores and was delighted to stumble across Papenhausen. It is an attractive store that invites you inside with a bunch of African handwoven baskets out front. But they also had all the drill bits I needed and the screws, and they have shovels and tape and anything you can think of for the serious home improvement type. Nice service, and a delightful store to browse for pretty things for the home."
