"We own 3 Hobart commercial dishwashers. One was recently failing. After being required to give credit card info to a call center person who could tell me nothing about what it was to be used for beyond requiring it to get tech guys to set up appointment, a guy came. He made what had been functioning weakly completely inoperable, so I need to pay a second team member to handle dishes until we receive our new unit, which is not a Hobart. And I was charged close to $400 for the privilege. The overall impression was that a once great brand has fallen, and not a single interaction in this process gave the impression that any of them cared about their customer. It was a shockingly bad experience and there is no recourse. I was thrilled when Hobart responded to my review above and gave me a number to call to reach the service manager to work on improving my experience. I called that number and after 48 minutes on hold thinking I was waiting for the service department, a pleasant woman answered, but she was not in any office, did not know which geography I was trying to reach, and had no ability to reach the service manager. She did promise to take a message. There are some avoidable disconnects in their system."
