"Beware of this business! They REFUSE to honor VALID warranties. In 2023, we brought our vehicle to be serviced by Irvine Transmission. We spent over $3000 to have the transmission repaired. One of the key reasons we used this company was the two-year warranty on parts and labor. Within less than a year, the transmission started developing serious issues again. Pursuant to the warranty, we requested that Irvine Transmission examine the car. Despite admitting that the car was still in the warranty period, Irvine Transmission flatly refused to honor the warranty. Their representative told us that they would not honor the warranty because the company is under new ownership and does not honor any warranties from before the ownership transition. Interestingly, Irvine Transmission’s website claims that it’s a family operation that has been in business for over 40 years!! Frankly, I don't know the history of this business and whether it’s in fact been sold. But even if that’s true, disregarding valid warranties just to save a few dollars is a shady business practice. That’s especially true when the company publicly proclaims that it’s been in business for 40 years! There’s nothing stopping them from reselling the business every couple years to avoid the costs associated with shoddy work."

"I lost reverse in my high mileage BMW X3. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue which required a full rebuild. They were prompt, friendly, communicative, and professional. They also gave me a great price because I wasn't sure if it made financial sense to keep the car going. They got the rebuild done in time for me to have the car back for the weekend. "What Can I say.. Like many others Reviewing, Dave is absolutely the Best. When I thought I was just going to “Deal” with my transmission issue and I had no where else to turn, Dave came and saves the day and my Truck! I had been working with a Warranty Company for a year who was “fixing” my transmission. But, what was happening was they were sending me Refurbished units and having There Own mechanics do the work. Which, was not fixing the issue, just prolonging it. Finally, fed up, I, in a last ditch effort called Irvine Transmission and Differential. A friendly voice answered the phone “Irvine Transmission and Differential, This is Dave”. This is where my luck started to turn around. Dave vowed, NO MATTER WHAT, he will figure out the issue and even went on to diagnose for FREE. Dave and his Team spent hours pin pointing the issue and actually at the same time identified a new issue that he is currently going to repair for me now. Finally, Issue found, not only did he rebuild my transmission but Also got a new case so the entire unit is new and I will not have to deal with any of the previous issues again. What is even crazier and so great about dave is when I would call right away he would know my name, my vehicle and what the issue was. Now, fast forward a couple months and I get a phone call, who is it? Dave!! Following up to see how the trans is doing, any issues, any questions etc. And of course, It is AMAZING! Shifting better and tighter than it ever had in the past! Also, he remembered I have the other issue with my diff and was curious if I wanted to get that looked at as well. So, here we are, I am dropping off my vehicle and leaving this review to say if you want, an Honest, Diligent, hard working, personable shop to fix your vehicle the right way you will take it to Dave! I will NEVER go any where else, This place rocks! Dave Thanks again man, see you shortly for the Diff Bearing Repair. And, I still owe you dinner, My treat.
