"This is the REAL deal . Master Lee teaches traditional, authentic, old school Tae Kwon Do. How I remember it as a kid. Standards are high, discipline is taught, and value is learned. We highly recommend Yong In East Nashville."
"Can't say enough good things about Master Lee and Yong In Martial Arts. My daughter has become infinitely more disciplined since starting and she looks forward to each class. Master Lee is a professional in every sense of the word and keeps the classes exciting. You won't find better."
"Grandmaster Lee is truly the real deal. I am a native Korean so I know the reputation of Yongin Univeristy very well, it is a specialty 4-year college in Korea solely for physical education and martial arts. Imagine going to college for 4 years and learning combat arts all day everyday! He was also with the Tigers Demonstrations Team which is a great honor. He is incredibly fit and moves immensely smooth. I only started a week ago but I've seen him do Nakbub (fall break) drills, Taekwondo and handling the Bong (Bo Staff) and it's awe-striking. I got my Hapkido black belt elsewhere with a different style and some martial art schools can be crummy about accepting the rank of different styles and/or schools but he's been very gracious, even having his students bow to me as a black belt. He's also more laid back. I had been taught to never wear my uniform outside the school, to bow at the door, to bow at the mat, to bow in higher ranks, turn around to fix my uniform and so on but Grandmaster Lee doesn't enforce elaborate rules. He's also humorous and very encouraging when his students struggle. I personally enjoy pushing myself to the brink of vomiting and exercise-induced hypoglycemia, it is often the Korean way to train to the extreme. He will tell you stories from his college days, the brutal trainings he went through, yet he is very kind to his students. It reminded me of a Korean saying 외유내강, "to be soft to others but hard on yourself"."
"Master Lee has been such a blessing in my son’s life. He has helped hone his confidence, coordination, and determination. Master Lee has the perfect balance of kindness, understanding, and grace paired with firmness, strength, and challenge. We have tried other martial arts centers, but no one compares to him!"
"Master Lee is the best teacher who understands and promotes the growth mindset. It is worth the drive to his studio for our family. Our son has gained the focus, confidence, and coordination that he needed."
