"I have used Woods Financial for several years prior and thought they were wonderful to have them do my taxes. This year I called to make an appt to drop off my taxes and I was kinda taken aback by the price hike from last year to this. I know things have gotten more expensive everywhere but this was excessive. I still made an appt just as a place holder if I could not find something else. I called back to cancel my appt once I did find another option and was hung up on twice! I guess I was naive by starting the phone call with “I need to cancel an appt I made.” The two ladies “pretended” as though I had not spoken those words and a ghost must have been on the line as they slammed it back to the cradle. Each time I called back I got a different person. The third time I changed my verbiage and magically someone would let me get the full sentence out. The years they did my taxes were great! I’m not sure why the ladies in the front couldn’t have been a bit more respectful and worked with me to cancel my appt for this year. That didn’t mean that in the future I wouldn’t be back. I’ll have to think about it for next year for sure. I must admit I did learn a lot through the other company I am using…..so I may not be back."
