"When a family member became sick and passed, we were faced with repairing his house for sale. Our challenge? None of his surviving family lived in Tennessee. Seeing the ad for The Handy Man I reached out and spoke with Brandon. I explained the circumstances, and the work needed (repair and reglaze all 18 or so wooden windows and sills, replace exterior doors, and repaint the house.) Living in Georgia, turning the house over to anyone for work would have made me a bit nervous. But Brandon and the crew at The Handy Man quickly proved my trust and faith was well placed. Brandon worked long hours thru some of the hottest days of the year to get the job done on time. I was sent pictures of the completed work on a regular basis. If I had a question my texts and phone calls were quickly answered or returned. Honestly, I don't know how we could have completed this project as quickly or as reasonably without Brandon's dedication, professional attitude and willingness to do whatever necessary to get the job done on time. I cannot recommend him more highly than to say if I lived in Tennessee he would continue to be my 'Go To' Handy Man. Thanks Brandon"

"Austin and Darren arrived on time and with all their necessary supplies we had agreed on. They did numerous jobs around my home including installing under cabinet lighting, repairing some things in our bathroom, cleaning our gutters and building a custom dog ramp for our four fur babies. Our dogs, who usually aren’t too friendly around strangers, took a liking to both of them and followed them around! You know what they say, dogs are excellent judges of character! They were friendly and happy to explain any questions I had. I really appreciated their good work as well as their friendliness and professionalism. I will definitely use them again for future services."

"We hired Austin needing a quick turn around time. He did not meet his quoted timeframe, due to issues he ran into with the home. No biggie, these things happen. That’s not what is upsetting. What’s upsetting is that he’s the professional, not us, and I could have done a better job painting my walls had I had the time. In addition, I’m coming to find out that the right colors and sheen weren’t used in the areas we specified. Touch ups were used with the wrong sheens. Areas were not fully coated and you can visibly tell there was only one coat used. No care was taken to sand areas that needed sanded, holes filled that needed to be filled, and curtain rod holders were left up and sprayed around. Austin had to come back after our new floors were laid to do some touch ups, and let’s just say…I’ve got more touching up to do on my floors than what he needed to do on my walls. We felt Austin was up front and honest until the end. My husband asked him how much extra things would cost, while the job was going on, and there was no reply until the end. Two mirrors were broken, timeframe was not met, a cruddy job was performed, however, he wanted to charge us extra because of the amount of paint that was used. We read his reviews and after meeting him and hearing his quote and timeframe, we thought he was the best option. As the saying goes “You get what you pay for”."

"We needed a proper plug for wiring a new microwave. Called Austin and he got back right away. He was able to come the next day!! While here, he did three other small jobs for us at reasonable cost: took out a blocking bracket to allow our new range to be flush with cabinet, installed a new faucet, and changed a very high light bulb fixture we could never reach. Austin and helper are top notch, courteous, and "Can Do" people. Highly recommend."
