"Dr.feld has taken care of my daughter for 18 years , we would never go to another pediatrician everyone there is great"
"DO NOT COME TO THIS OFFICE THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. If I could leave 0 STARS I 20000% would. -0 stars to this whole staff at this office. This place will single you out if you are on TN insurance. They will not give you the proper care. There are multiple reviews that state the same thing. At this point it’s not even an accusation. It’s more of a fact. My best friends child was born premie in the NICU. This “doctor” supposedly specializes in NICU as he used to work in one. She finally switched drs and mind you the nurses were very rude and rolled their eyes and had an attitude when she asked them to give her records to this other pediatrician. Finally she got into this other pediatrician. They told her about 4 things that need to be looked at immediately and be taken care of. None of which this “devil doctor” made my best friend aware of. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE IF YOU ARE ON TN CARE. Don’t bring them here in general. This doctors office needs to be shut down. This office needs to be reported. This “doctor” needs his license revoked. I’m absolutely disgusted in how he treated my friends daughter. DO NOT COME TO THIS OFFICE THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN."
"Dr. Feld is the worst pediatrician around… Please believe the one star reviews I don’t know how he has any good reviews on here! He dismissed all of my child’s health problems, forcing me to go to another doctor to get help because he would not help my son’s skin condition. I truly don’t know how this practice is still open… He may treat his patients that have insurance other than tenncare better, but I know for a fact he treats his tenncare patients like scum of the Earth.."
"We bring our almost 4 month old son to this office. Before we found Tots and Teens we saw multiple pediatricians within the ETCH network and never had good experiences. I’m not sure what all the negative reviews stem from, we have NEVER had an issue with friendliness of staff. They’re so quick to schedule a sick visit and so helpful when I call the nurse line. I typically receive a call back within an hour. Dr. Feld is so kind and thoughtful when it comes to my questions or concerns and he’s never been anything but sweet to my son. Sometimes the wait for the doctor to come in can be long, but he’s the only doctor in the practice and he can only work so fast. I appreciate the time he takes to listen, examine and explain when he’s with us. He works methodically and takes his time. The prescriptions he’s written for our son have leaned toward homeopathic and that’s something we truly appreciate. Overall, we love this pediatrician’s office and will continue to keep our son here for a long time."
"They are quick to get you scheduled in, typically fast at the appointments, and not much of a wait time, but unfortunately they aren’t at all friendly or very welcoming. With all three of our visits, the nurse came off short, cold, and uninterested in getting to know her patients outside of her routine questions. Dr. Fled is knowledgeable but very straight to the point, dry, and has a way of making you feel as if you’re inconveniencing him by being there. At each visit, from the first to our last, he had made it feel intimidating to voice anything. For the well visits, they don’t provide the usual card/paper/pamphlet (whichever you’re used) with your child’s weight, height, percentile, etc. For us, this wasn’t as big of deal as I would log it for my personal records after the appointment, but we still found it odd as most pediatricians provide this for the parents to take home. Regarding the child’s percentile, they never went over this for any of my sons well check appointments. After our third visit, we made the decision to change offices as I couldn’t continue taking my son somewhere where we didn’t feel comfortable or where we didn’t belong. When I called to cancel our next appointment, the receptionist in a snarky tone informed me that it was already canceled, without making me aware prior. I’m assuming the office manager was upset that we were changing after receiving our medical records request, which seems a bit on the rude and petty side as they did not know the reasoning behind this move nor had I called to confirm prior to this call. To up and cancel an appointment without calling the parent to make them aware, is very unprofessional. For all that they knew, we could have still been planning to attend as a last appointment. I can’t help but to have a “gut feeling” that this has been our experience due to having state insurance and the office not making as much off of us. I say/feel this because during a visit, I had mentioned a concern regarding our formula not being available in stores or online and asked about an alternative option. Rather than making a suggestion, the Dr. had made the comment as he rolled his eyes that “it’s not a shortage, it’s probably because WIC doesn’t offer this”. I was floored by this assumption and the way that it was said. With that, being treated less than because of insurance, I pray isn’t the case.. morally. Overall, does this office get the job done? Yes. But for a pediatrics office they lack in rapport and being “family friendly”. I understand it’s a business, but your patients and their family should feel comfortable and welcomed. We’re trusting you with our babies, giving you our time, our concerns, and 9x out of 10 we’re already stressed.. we should be made to feel less like a number and dollar sign and more like a human being with questions and concerns and that our children are being genuinely cared for/about during these visits. My last question for him would be, why choose to practice pediatrics then? Or why practice at all? You seem to be very, very over it or this field just isn’t in your nature. He has zero compassion for it left."
