"Dr Stiles is the most thorough physician I’ve ever seen. She is patient and listens and I never feel rushed. She’s also a very kind person. I’m so pleased to be in her care."
"I used to recommend this office all the time to people. They have really changed in the last few years. It takes a really long time now, if ever, for them to fill rx. And they used to be able to get you in the same day if you were sick or had a problem, now they tell you it will be a week before they can see you. Really want an office that can be there for me when I need them."
"Never go here. This was my first regular doctor and for years my only issues with her office were as simple as getting my age wrong (by ten years) or the relationship of my emergency contact being different from what I’d written on the form. Anyone can make mistakes. But when I was charged $666 specifically for my Annual and it was filed ONE day after the cut off date for my insurance, I realized this was the wrong office to trust with anything much less your health!! They waited until I was up there for an unrelated appointment to tell me that I needed to pay over $500 to see my doctor. After months of doing battle with the insurance company and having to pay out of pocket for clinic fees because I could not get a referral from her office, I spoke with Consolidated Medical Practices of Memphis, who reduced the charges to $200 something because I was being overcharged for the services listed… but I still had to pay out of pocket!"
"I have been a patient of Dr. Stiles for several years, although I have never actually been seen by her, just by Nurse Practitioners. The NPs were always very pleasant and helpful, though, and even suggested new medication that almost completely eradicated my migraines. Recently however, I tried to get a refill on a prescription that I have been taking for over a decade. Although Dr. Stiles was not the doctor that originally prescribed it, their office had been filling it for me for as long as I've been their patient. This time, however, they told me they had no record of ever providing that medication for me. After multiple phone calls, I finally learned that a specialist I had seen one time for an unrelated issue had contacted them and told them he didn't want me on this particular medication anymore. And so, without consulting me or informing me in any way, Dr. Stiles' office canceled the prescription. This wasn't a prescription for a controlled substance, or an experimental, off-label use. It was just a regular pill that helped make a chronic condition manageable. Multiple doctors over the years (including Dr. Stiles) had been perfectly fine with me taking it. Not only would Dr. Stiles not reactivate the prescription, she refused to even speak to me in person or over the phone to explain why, or suggest alternate medications I could be taking if this one was suddenly forbidden. I was told I could only contact the specialist--a man who was not, and could not be my regular practitioner, and who had not prescribed this medication for me in the first place--to ask for a new prescription. I can no longer trust a doctor that would treat a patient so arbitrarily and dismissively and will be seeking a new practitioner immediately."
"Dr. Stiles is delightful. The people working the front desk are completely incompetent. Called 4 times and went to the office in person one afternoon to try to get prescribed TamiFlu. Was told a nurse would take care of it each time. Left my name and phone number with two different people and a message with the nurse. No one called me back and the prescription was not filled. I now have the flu and will have to take a week off work during one of the busiest and most important weeks of my year. Very dissatisfied with this experience."
