"Not the doctor for you if you want a compassionate doctor!! My elderly mother of 79 years old, who has recovered from heart valve replacements etc, and years of fighting anxiety disorders, visited this drs office less than 4 times. My mother has been a patient in this group for decades and is the most timid, kind lady in the universe!! Today, when I asked how her appt with her fairly new dr went, in tears, told me that Dr Liuzza told her she needed to find another doctor!! She told my mother that she was “bullying her” by asking her for a medication! Really? That’s how we treat our senior citizens? I’m livid. If she took the time to listen to my mother, she would know all that she has been through and would show compassion, not kick her to the curb. I look at this as a blessing in disguise, but wanted to let others know how my sweet mother was treated!! I’m so blessed to have great doctors in Knoxville. My father is looking for a new doctor and I hope she keeps moving on to another location, as her resume shows she doesn’t stay anywhere long."
