"I wouldn’t even give her a star if I could. She was the on call doctor over the weekend. My husband has head and neck cancer and was out of his pain meds. She refused to call him in any because it was the weekend… she literally told me that I need to remember to ask for more during the week day!!! My husband is stage 4 and has blisters all throughout his mouth and throat. What kind of ONCOLOGY doctor refuses to call in pain meds?! Unacceptable and she should definitely not be in this field taking care of those going through the worst times of their lives. It gets worse, she then made me believe that she was going to call the in and continued to lecture me about next time to ask before the weekend, when I called the pharmacist she never called it in!"

"Dr Vontela has been very good at accommodating my needs: getting me IV fluids after surgery to keep me out of the hospital, and things like asking about my home support, she has answered and accommodated as much as anyone could have to meet my needs as they have risen. Her office staff is polite, timely, and responsive."
