"I had my new patient appointment with Dr Monroe a few months ago. It took 7 weeks to get my lab results back, despite the patient portal time stamp showing that she reviewed them 3 days after my appointment. When I contacted her nurse line numerous times I was told that she hadn’t had time to review them and I would just need to wait. I noticed on my patient portal that she had also diagnosed me with a fairly serious condition that I had zero knowledge of. When Dr Monroe followed up with my inquiry about this she was insistent that I told her that I had the condition, when I never had. I’ve never been tested for it, nor have I ever had any symptoms. I never even discussed possible symptoms that could make anyone with a medical license come to this diagnosis, so this was a pretty serious mix up on her end. The combination of that and the lack of urgency about getting a patients labs back are cause for concern. In my opinion, Dr Monroe might need to hang up her stethoscope before she makes another serious error in patient care that results in loss of life or litigation."
